This past summer, Watterson’s Facilities Management team was challenged to assist a client with a huge undertaking – an 8’ x 40’ one, in fact. Here’s the whole story, as told by our Vice President of Facilities Management:

“To advertise a major promotion, one of our retail clients engaged Watterson to install banners on the front of 297 of their buildings across the country. We were given notice one Monday morning with only 3 days to execute the program.

Some companies may have been daunted by a request like this, but not Watterson. With our facilities management experience and strong network of vendor relationships, we knew we could get the job done. Our team quickly mapped out a game plan, allocated the locations regionally, assigned PMs to each of the groups of stores, and engaged in finding locally qualified vendors who could meet our schedule and needs. All banners were hung in the time requested and our challenge was successfully accomplished.

Once the promotion ended, our vendors removed the banners well within the required timeframe. Our client was pleased, not only with Watterson’s service and commitment to their promotional efforts, but because they experienced a 40% increase in sales as a result of the national banner program.
